Safety and Assumption of Risk

Pony Patrol operates under a strict Health and Safety Policy and carries out thorough risk assessments for all sessions. However, activities involving animals carry an inherent element of risk. By booking and attending a pony session, you acknowledge and accept these risks. All participants and supervising adults agree to follow any safety instructions provided by Pony Patrol staff and to observe all signage and guidance at all times. Pony Patrol cannot accept liability for injuries or accidents that occur as a result of failing to follow safety instructions or from the inherent risks associated with pony-related activities. Customers must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs prior to booking so that appropriate arrangements can be considered.

Booking and Payments

Pony Visits

A £50 deposit is required to secure a pony visit booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to the session date. Deposits are non-refundable.

Wedding Packages

A £70 deposit is required to secure a pony visit booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to the session date. Deposits are non-refundable.

All Other Sessions

A £20 deposit is required to secure all other bookings. The remaining balance must be paid at least 48 hours before the session. Deposits are non-refundable. As a small business, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Participant Requirements

• Customers must inform Pony Patrol of any allergies or relevant medical conditions before the session.

• All participants must wear closed-toe footwear around the ponies. 

• Children under 16 must be supervised at all times at a ratio of at least 1 adult to 6 children.

• A safety briefing may be conducted before sessions where appropriate.

Sessions at St Bartholomew’s

• A fire meeting point will be identified upon arrival.

• For party sessions, arrival is permitted up to 15 minutes before your booking time.

• Late arrivals cannot be accommodated with extended session time.

• Please vacate the premises within 15 minutes after your session ends.

• Parking space is limited; car sharing is encouraged. Please drive no faster than 5 mph and ensure all gates are closed behind you.

• No animals are permitted on site, except registered service or guide dogs.

• Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises.

Property and Conduct

Pony Patrol cannot be held responsible for property damage or injury to customers. Customers are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward staff, animals, and facilities.

Cancellation Policy

At Pony Patrol, the welfare and safety of our ponies always comes first. While we make every effort to honour all bookings, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone any booking at any time due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Pony health or welfare concerns

• Extreme or unsafe weather conditions

• Unforeseen operational circumstances

If we need to cancel your booking, we will always aim to offer an alternative date wherever possible. If rescheduling is not suitable, we will refund:

• 50% of the deposit paid, and

• Any remaining balance paid in full

Customer Cancellations

• Deposits are non-refundable if you choose to cancel your booking.

• If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the booking date, 50% of any remaining balance paid will be refunded.

By confirming your booking with Pony Patrol, you agree to these cancellation terms.
